Personal Services System

SMI's Network Analysts were responsible for the design of high availability networks and broadband communication lines. They provided IP network architecture, design, and implementation support to a wide variety of Telcordia customers. Particular areas of focus have been: broadband networks, Next generation networks, and Voice over Packet. These assignments require knowledge and experience with ATM and IP, Voice over IP, and the ability to use these technologies to develop Telcordia customer solutions. The SMI staff has consisted of Sr. System Engineers, Lab Technicians, and Communication System Administrators. The technology has involved ATM, Frame Relay, IP, VoIP, TCP/IP, HP Open View and Cisco Routers.
