The Web Medical Claims System is being developed to bring payment card system technology to the healthcare market. The patented payment system dramatically reduces the administrative costs of healthcare, at the same time, strengthens the doctor/patient relationship and puts the power of decision-making back in consumer's hands. The state of the art system will process medical insurance claims via the Internet. The medical claim settlement system provides doctors with a Web Browser/Thin Client interface to a centralized eligibility/payment database.

SMI staff is responsible for Program Management, Subject Matter Expertise, and Technical Staff related to the design, development, test, and delivery of an Internet based medical claim settlement system. The project requires a SMI Management Consultant,  Business Analysts,  Data Modelers,  Product Planners,  a System Administrator, Java Programmer/Analysts, Java Programmers, a QA Manager, and QA Analysts to perform business analysis, program analysis, implementation, system testing, and production turn over.
