SMI staff was responsible for Wide Area Network - Data Communication
Systems Analysis, Design, and Delivery. The project consisted of
project management for a multi-site and multi-state Wide-Area-Network.
SMI staff members were responsible
for analyzing, design, procuring, installing, and training for a
$500,000,000 financial system, automated teller machine network
enhancement.
Members of SMI staff were responsible
for various aspects of the overall project plan including: business
analysis, statement of work, risk assessment, budgeting, timelines,
staffing, procurement, delivery, installation, training, and support.
When a database was needed to track
the orders, SMI's project leader proposed, designed and implemented
an order tracking system to solve the problem. The system tracked
orders in progress and inventory.
