about the .Net technology platform from Microsoft...

Sysmet.Net is listening to you, our customers. The introduction of the .Net technology platform from Microsoft marks a new generation of IT technology, which we believe is the most significant we have ever seen. When we had our first encounter with .Net back in the summer of 2000, we saw that Microsoft did everything right: Right for CIO's and CTO's and their teams of designers and developers who are trying to find ways to increase productivity and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO); right for managers looking for more maintainable and less expensive ways to build systems with increased intelligence and connectivity. Microsoft also got it right by radically simplifying what was previously complex. We know what we saw was both evolutionary and revolutionary.

.Net will not only revolutionize the communications industry, but it will also provide within the systemic changes an on-going evolutionary transfer which will make those changes on-going and evolutionary. Although we know that Microsoft has a true winner on its hands, it may take time for our client base to fully embrace and implement the new .Net paradigm. This paradigm transfer is so complete and over-all that, at first, it will be understood in part: .Net will mean different things to different people, and depending on what you are looking or hoping for in terms of their own corporate needs. Yet, as a more comprehensive understanding of the .Net transfer grows, corporations will begin to understand how systemic this new approach really is. .Net has it, and has it right. To company CFO's .Net is truly capable of flattening if not reducing IT costs across the board. To CIO's .Net means higher productivity, dramatically lower costs and more functional and reliable applications through an enterprise framework. To the CTO, .Net is the route to establishing a true corporate architecture. To a Visual Basic expert -- .Net is VB as it should have been done from day one in 1991. To our C++ clients -- .Net is simpler, easier to understand and very smart. To Internet programmers -- .Net is connectivity in every way with and without browsers. . To computer scientists - .Net is everything Java should have been, only, much easier to use and with more options. To end user's who will be the ultimate consumers of this new technology, .Net means a better experience, in ease of use, mobility and being connected via PC's, pda's and cell phones to corporate resources on a 24 x 7 basis.

This brings us to why sysme1.Net. System Methodologies is so confident of the positive impact that .Net will have on our clients that we built a separate organization solely dedicated to helping our clients make the transition to .Net, a transition that will be productive whether adapted in stages or through complete holistic change.
